Boulder Wellness Network
Boulder Wellness Network is an organization focused on accessing information, training, and professionals that support the overall health and well-being of individuals and families in the greater Boulder, Utah area. Boulder Wellness Network is not a health care provider in that it does not directly provide any medical services.
Our goal is to:
-
Provide an online resource hub for health care, services and information on boulder-wellness.net. This will include links to resources such as Early Intervention, Substance Abuse, Elder care, Caregiver Support, Life Planning, Emergency Response information for Rural Living, as well as a discussion forum hosting local questions and answers.
-
Develop a network of existing healthcare and health organizations, practitioners and services to develop a comprehensive schedule of mobile and visiting practitioners. This will include mobile medical units, traveling practitioners and tele-health opportunities.
-
Create community programming to offer training, workshops and presentations that educate the community and offer opportunities for participation and collaboration. Examples include: First Responder and CPR courses, Wilderness Medicine (WFR), caregiver training and support, Life Doula workshops, Finance presentations, Life planning presentations and workshops etc.
-
Establish a volunteer network to assist those in need of non medical services. Including but not limited to household and yard chores, transportation, meal preparation, shopping, companion care, and check ins, caregiver relief.
-
Collaborate with organizations and agencies to further the accessibility and resources needed to provide a comprehensive rural health and wellness network.
